About UKI Arkkitehdit
UKI Arkkitehdit is a studio founded in 1958 in Oulu, with offices also in Jyväskylä, Helsinki and Rovaniemi. Led for three generations by the Heikkinen family, it employs around 100 design professionals.
Its work includes hospitals, schools, industrial and energy buildings, heritage and housing, with long experience of large-scale projects in northern Finland. The studio is known for its user-driven design method and for using information models and virtual walkthroughs.
For industrial, public and institutional clients, UKI offers continuity, current technology and experience in renovating protected buildings. Its history of more than six decades makes it one of the most established studios in the north of the country.
