About Buchner Bründler Architekten
Buchner Bründler Architekten is a Basel practice founded in 1997 by Daniel Buchner and Andreas Bründler, with its office on Utengasse. Its work is centred on Switzerland and starts from an intense dialogue with place and with what is already built.
The office designs housing, public buildings and transformations, paying attention to structure, materiality and light. Among its works are interventions that extend or reinterpret existing buildings without erasing their character.
It is a good choice for clients seeking precise, context-sensitive architecture in Basel and elsewhere in Switzerland, for both new building and refurbishment and extension.
