About NSW Arkitektur
NSW Arkitektur is an independent Oslo practice founded in 1979 as Narud Stokke Wiig, adopting its abbreviated name NSW in 2018, with offices also in Hamar and in Svolvær in Lofoten. Its work covers architecture, planning, urban design and interiors, at every scale.
The practice was involved from the early stages of Oslo Airport at Gardermoen and later in its Terminal 2, and has worked on schools, housing, public buildings and airports, as well as restorations such as the Royal Palace and the Norwegian Parliament. Its stated foundation is a timeless modernism combining aesthetics and functionality.
For public and private clients, NSW Arkitektur offers an experienced practice in complex, large-scale projects, as well as in transformation and interiors, with a presence stretching from the capital to northern Norway.
