About Leca Norge AS
Leca Norge AS, part of Saint-Gobain, produces lightweight expanded clay aggregate and Leca building blocks, with a plant at Borge in the Torp area near Fredrikstad. Leca blocks are used in load-bearing walls and enclosures, combining load capacity, thermal insulation and fire resistance.
Besides blocks, Leca lightweight aggregate is used as lightweight fill, insulation and drainage in roads, foundations and roofs, taking advantage of its low weight and durability. It is a material with a long track record in Norwegian construction, present in buildings and infrastructure for decades.
