About Atelier Oficina de Arquitectura
Atelier Oficina de Arquitectura is an Antigua Guatemala studio active since 1998, specialising in the design and construction of colonial-style houses, as well as architecture, urbanism and interiors. Recent work includes the UMG campus in Antigua, which adapts the colonial scale to a large educational complex.
In Antigua, any project must respond to historic-centre conservation rules: heights, materials, façades and roofs are conditioned by the heritage setting. The concept design should therefore be checked with the competent authority before moving to final drawings.
