About 70°N arkitektur
70°N arkitektur is a Tromsø practice working in architecture, landscape, urbanism and participatory processes in northern Norway and the Arctic. Its practice ranges from small objects and exhibitions to housing, territorial analysis, planning and urban development, as well as teaching and research.
The studio is known for its kindergartens in Tromsø, for rest areas and viewpoints on the National Tourist Routes in Lofoten, and for public-space projects such as the Tromsø Waterfront Laboratory, developed with participatory methods alongside artists and residents.
For northern clients, 70°N arkitektur offers a view especially attuned to climate, light, coastal landscape and local culture, suited to education, public space, housing and tourist projects in Arctic and sub-Arctic settings.
