About A-cero
A-cero is the Madrid practice founded in 1996 by Joaquín Torres and Rafael Llamazares, known for sculptural architecture of bold geometries. Its portfolio combines luxury villas, collective housing, offices and towers, with projects in Madrid, A Coruña and many other countries, plus its own furniture and interior design collections.
At the first conversation it helps to specify the intended use, the number of users, hours of use and technical requirements such as accessibility, acoustics or energy efficiency. With that information the team can assess the real scope, the phases of work and the consultants to coordinate.
To compare proposals, ask for a phased schedule and separate estimates for design, site supervision and administrative procedures. Ask too how unforeseen issues will be handled and what margin is allowed for adjustments during construction.
