About Rodrigo Errázuriz Arquitectos
Rodrigo Errázuriz Arquitectos is an architectural practice with published contact information in Vitacura. Its presentation provides background for discussing assignments that translate program, site characteristics, and client requirements into a coordinated spatial and material design proposal for a particular project. The relationship between program, layout, and context is central when considering services of this kind: spatial decisions need to respond to planned activities, site characteristics, and the needs of people using the facilities.
In a design assignment, program, site, and patterns of use need to be considered together. Layouts require coordination of circulation, relationships between rooms, and opportunities within a site or existing building, distinguishing initial design decisions from the documentation and technical definition developed at later stages.
Reviewing the portfolio offers a starting point for connecting references with the needs of an assignment. Before establishing scope, it is useful to describe users, proposed spaces, and property constraints, distinguishing conceptual decisions from later stages of documentation and the technical coordination required for delivery.
