About Hacin
Hacin is an interdisciplinary studio bringing architecture, interiors, and graphic design together for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The relationship between program, layout, and context is central when considering services of this kind: spatial decisions need to respond to planned activities, site characteristics, and the needs of people using the facilities.
Its work encompasses collective housing, workplaces, retail, and the preservation and reuse of buildings. References such as The Whitney Hotel and Iron Works show relationships between place identity, new activities, and the transformation of built heritage. Reviewing references by program and context helps identify which aspects of the practice can respond to the priorities of a particular assignment and its intended users.
An initial inquiry benefits from identifying the building use, location, approximate area, and whether the assignment involves new construction or an existing property. Reviewing comparable projects helps frame a discussion about scope, design stages, and coordination with the specialists required for the proposed work.
