Wienerberger AB

Wienerberger AB, based in Malmö, is the Swedish subsidiary of the Wienerberger group, one of the world's largest manufacturers of bricks and ceramic building solutions. Its Swedish range includes facing bricks, blocks and systems for facades and walls, for housing and infrastructure.

For masonry, specify brick type, strength, absorption and finish, as well as mortar and bond, because aesthetic and structural results depend on the whole assembly. Full-scale samples help validate colour and texture in local light.

For brick facades, joint, lintel and junction detailing with other materials is decisive for water-tightness and durability. Good coordination between masonry, joinery and structure avoids thermal bridges and leaks.
