Tank Architectes

Tank Architectes is an architecture practice based in Lille (Hauts-de-France) whose work covers Lille practice specialising in collective housing, refurbishment and public facilities, with strong regional roots. Its projects are mainly in France, spanning different scales, from the individual building to urban intervention.

Its housing output, both collective and neighbourhood-scale, is the core of its practice. For developers and local authorities, its experience with density, orientation and shared spaces is a useful basis for comparison.

In housing, the quality of shared spaces, daylight and the relationship with the street mark the difference between similar schemes. Comparing several housing-practice listings in the same city helps refine the choice.
