About Sto Ges.m.b.H.
Sto Ges.m.b.H., headquartered in Villach in Carinthia, is the Austrian company of the Sto group, developing, producing and selling renders, paints, external wall insulation systems, concrete repair products and acoustic and floor-coating systems.
For a facade or interior coating project, the essential step is to confirm the system and the substrate preparation, since renders, insulation boards and finishes are designed to work together and substitutions can affect durability. Requesting the system recommendation in writing is worthwhile.
It is also worth asking about local technical advice, colour service and reference projects in a similar climate. Keeping the system documentation with the building file helps later maintenance teams identify the original products.
