About Kleihues + Kleihues
Kleihues + Kleihues, based in Berlin, is an architecture practice: Berlin practice with a tradition of classical and contemporary urban architecture, author of offices, hotels, housing, museums and public buildings, with offices also in Dülmen-Rorup and Münster.
For public or cultural commissions, experience in competitions and in coordination with public bodies and end users is often as important as design, because it shapes deadlines, budgets and social acceptance.
Finally, early dialogue about budget and risks avoids surprises: an experienced practice helps to prioritise decisions and to keep architectural ambition within a realistic economic framework.
