About BWM Designers & Architects
BWM Designers & Architects is a Vienna-based studio founded in 2004 that works across architecture, interior design, narrative design and hospitality, with a particular focus on hotels, museums, exhibitions and commercial spaces. From its office on Margaretenplatz in Vienna's 5th district, it develops concepts in which the interior is not mere decoration but the spatial expression of a brand or a story.
For directory users, BWM is especially relevant when a project requires architecture and interiors to be coordinated by a single team, for example a hotel, restaurant or exhibition. Its work shows how it handles the relationship between an existing building, bespoke furniture and the visitor experience, a key issue in refurbishments in central Vienna.
Before making contact, it is worth reviewing its portfolio by project type and preparing a clear summary of the intended use, floor area and desired character. That makes it easier to judge whether the studio's narrative, brand-led approach fits a residential, hotel or cultural commission.
