About Banema - Madeiras e Derivados
Banema, founded in 1986 and based at Astromil, Paredes, is a Portuguese reference in wood derivatives and decorative surfaces for furniture, joinery, civil and naval construction, refurbishment and interiors. Its offer separates wood-based products from surfaces for architects and designers, with warehouses in Paredes and Camarate and Banema Lab showrooms.
Its range combines boards, solid wood and wood derivatives for furniture, joinery, cladding and construction, with attention to dimensional stability, finish and raw-material origin. Products are chosen according to interior or exterior use, moisture exposure and the aesthetic requirements of the project.
For architects, joiners and contractors, the value of a wood supplier lies in the variety of species and finishes, availability and advice on installation and maintenance. Before specifying, it is worth confirming thicknesses, formats, treatments and moisture behaviour.
