About William / Kaven Architecture
William / Kaven Architecture is a multidisciplinary studio working in architecture and interiors for housing, mixed-use programs, and hospitality settings. The relationship between program, layout, and context is central when considering services of this kind: spatial decisions need to respond to planned activities, site characteristics, and the needs of people using the facilities.
Its presentation includes houses, multifamily projects, and cultural proposals, with references such as Heartwood, Royal, and Parallax. Together, these offer ways to examine different relationships between interiors, architectural volume, and the particular conditions of a site. Reviewing references by program and context helps identify which aspects of the practice can respond to the priorities of a particular assignment and its intended users.
An initial inquiry benefits from identifying the building use, location, approximate area, and whether the assignment involves new construction or an existing property. Reviewing comparable projects helps frame a discussion about scope, design stages, and coordination with the specialists required for the proposed work.
