About Gensler
Gensler is an architecture, design, and planning firm with a United States presence and an international office network. Its practice connects building design, interior environments, and the relationship between individual projects and their urban surroundings. The San Francisco office occupies the historic Mills Building and maintains a connection to the city where the firm began its practice.
Its work spans corporate workplaces, education, healthcare, retail, hospitality, residential buildings, and mixed-use developments, among other sectors. The firm also works on building transformation and adaptive reuse, urban design, and sustainability. These areas provide points of entry for projects involving both the organization of spaces and the adaptation of existing buildings to changing needs.
For owners, developers, and organizations, Gensler offers a practice to explore when a project needs to bring together architecture, user experience, and a sense of place. Its public portfolio provides examples of buildings and interiors, while its service and office pages help prospective clients direct an inquiry to the relevant discipline and location.
