EYRC Architects

EYRC Architects is a California architecture practice presenting its work through houses and other buildings. The relationship between program, layout, and context is central when considering services of this kind: spatial decisions need to respond to planned activities, site characteristics, and the needs of people using the facilities.

It maintains published offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Its portfolio provides a reference for exploring architectural proposals across different sites and discussing indoor and outdoor relationships, layout, and program priorities for a particular property. Reviewing references by program and context helps identify which aspects of the practice can respond to the priorities of a particular assignment and its intended users.

An initial inquiry benefits from identifying the building use, location, approximate area, and whether the assignment involves new construction or an existing property. Reviewing comparable projects helps frame a discussion about scope, design stages, and coordination with the specialists required for the proposed work.
