About EXTECH Exterior Technologies
EXTECH Exterior Technologies develops architectural facade, roof, and enclosure systems, with particular attention to translucent materials. Its solutions provide surfaces that filter light, shelter circulation areas, and contribute a distinct material expression to the building envelope. Selecting these materials is part of a system-level decision: appearance, dimensions, and application need to be considered alongside the substrate, junctions, and installation conditions shown in the construction details for a proposed building or renovation project.
Within an envelope, modules should be studied alongside supporting structures, joints, drainage, and junctions with other materials. Enclosure behavior depends on the complete assembly; documentation for the selected product informs coordination between architecture, engineering, and installation for the particular building.
Comparing alternatives requires identifying the specific product and the assembly where it will be installed. Dimensions, finishes, and exposure conditions need coordination with the design, while availability and supply channels are established for the project location and the quantities actually proposed for use in the construction work.
