About Bestor Architecture
Bestor Architecture is an architecture studio working on residential, commercial, and arts-related projects from Los Angeles. The relationship between program, layout, and context is central when considering services of this kind: spatial decisions need to respond to planned activities, site characteristics, and the needs of people using the facilities.
Its presentation includes houses and assignments such as Blackbirds, Ashes & Diamonds, and Beats by Dre. These references offer ways to explore relationships between image, collective use, domestic life, and spaces representing the identity of an organization. Reviewing references by program and context helps identify which aspects of the practice can respond to the priorities of a particular assignment and its intended users.
An initial inquiry benefits from identifying the building use, location, approximate area, and whether the assignment involves new construction or an existing property. Reviewing comparable projects helps frame a discussion about scope, design stages, and coordination with the specialists required for the proposed work.
