About Yemail Arquitectura
Yemail Arquitectura is an architecture, design and research practice founded in Bogotá in 2007 and led by Antonio Yemail. It works at multiple scales, from housing and workspaces to museums, pavilions, exhibitions and urban transformation processes.
Its approach understands architecture as a form of adaptation and repair: reusing, rehabilitating and activating existing spaces to extend the useful life of resources and strengthen the relationship between communities, territories and ecosystems. Interdisciplinary collaboration and research accompany every project.
The studio has been recognised in national and international biennials and its work has been published in specialist media, with cultural and ephemeral projects notable for their experimental character and social commitment.
