About VELUX France
VELUX France is a company French subsidiary for roof windows based in Morangis (Île-de-France). Its activity focuses on its roof windows, blinds and daylight solutions.
Roof windows completely change a converted attic: light, ventilation and a sense of height. Their good performance depends as much on the product as on correct integration with the roof and insulation. On flat roofs, maintenance access, puncture protection and water drainage must be planned from the project stage, not improvised afterwards.
Daylight under the roof must be balanced with summer solar control: a roof window without protection can turn a pleasant attic into an uninhabitable space in summer. External blinds, selective glazing and cross-ventilation are part of the same solution, not optional accessories.
