About URSA
URSA is a manufacturer of building insulation solutions, with an office in Madrid and industrial presence in Spain, producing glass mineral wool and extruded polystyrene for facades, roofs, partitions, floors and ducts. Its URSA Terra, URSA Glasswool and URSA XPS ranges cover thermal and acoustic insulation in housing and non-residential buildings.
In energy refurbishment, sequence matters: it is best first to reduce demand with good envelope insulation and then adjust heating and cooling, not the other way round. Choosing a product without checking thermal bridges, airtightness and ventilation can leave condensation and lower savings than expected.
For an insulation project, state the element to insulate, the available thickness, the acoustic requirement and any damp or fire risk. Request the declared thermal conductivity, fire reaction and installation recommendations, and confirm availability in roll, panel or loose-fill format according to the system.
