About UAO Design
UAO Design is a Wuhan, Hubei studio founded in 2005 by architects Tao Li and Haiyu Liang under the motto 'big landscape, micro-architecture'.
Its practice integrates architecture and landscape with nature as the first design element, and it stands out in urban renewal and industrial heritage regeneration, such as the former Pinghe Packing Factory.
The studio develops cultural and public spaces, educational facilities and neighbourhood regeneration projects, from concept through to delivery.
