About TYASA Talleres y Aceros
TYASA, Talleres y Aceros, is a Mexican steelmaker with more than forty years in operation and its production complex in the Orizaba and Ixtaczoquitlán area of Veracruz. It produces construction steels, flat steels, coated steels and special steels, with lines ranging from rebar and welded wire mesh to wire rod and prefabricated reinforcement.
The company integrates steelmaking, rolling and coating in a single complex, allowing it to control quality from billet to finished product. In 2026 it announced full certification of its first-stage NOM-251-SE-2025 products and the start-up of its special steels project.
With distribution centres in several regions of the country and a nationwide distributor network, TYASA supplies builders, distributors and manufacturers that require certified steel, volume and continuity of supply.
