About Trace Architecture Office
Beijing studio founded in 2009 by Hua Li, one of the most active in contemporary Chinese architecture, favouring contained-scale projects in places not yet globalised, such as schools, museums and theatres.
Its practice combines architecture, urban design and interiors, with attention to context, materials and the experience of the people who use the space, and with projects ranging from small interventions to cultural and public buildings.
For an architecture and building-materials directory, it is useful for its design approach and its presence in sector media and awards, although contact details should be verified before publication.
