SZA

The studio SZA, based in Zagreb, is studio founded in 2005 by Sonja and Igor Franić, oriented to competitions and to public buildings, housing and urbanism, including Zagreb's Museum of Contemporary Art. Its work is mainly in Croatia and is presented on its official website with projects, competitions and built works that allow its approach to be assessed before contact.

A good starting point is a first meeting with the site, photographs of the surroundings and a list of priorities; from there the studio can propose programme, areas and a phase estimate.

For projects in historic centres or on the coast, ask early about heritage protection, local rules and licence timescales, which shape the programme.
