Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design Group

State-owned design group created in 1998 by merging two Shanghai institutes, behind much of the city's landmark architecture and tens of thousands of projects in China and abroad.

Its work spans architectural design, urban design and technical consultancy, with large teams and a portfolio combining public, educational, cultural and infrastructure buildings, as well as conservation and renewal projects.

For an architecture and building-materials directory, it is relevant for its scale, technical capacity and record on landmark projects, although contact details should be verified before publication.
