About Schindler AS
Schindler AS is the Norwegian subsidiary of the Schindler Group, a global provider of elevators, escalators and moving walks, with its Nordic base in Oslo. The company sells, installs, modernises and maintains vertical-transport equipment in residential, commercial and public buildings across the country.
With a history going back to 1874 in Switzerland, Schindler combines precision engineering with digital monitoring and maintenance services, aimed at safety, availability and energy efficiency. In Norway it has branches in Bergen, Drammen, Stavanger and other towns, in addition to its Oslo base.
For developers and property managers, Schindler Norway is a reference supplier in vertical transport, both for new build and for modernising older elevators. Nationwide service coverage and the ability to maintain equipment of different brands are common factors in choosing a supplier.
