About Sauerbruch Hutton
Sauerbruch Hutton, based in Berlin, is an architecture practice: international practice for architecture, urbanism and design based in Berlin, known for its coloured facades, museums and public and office buildings with a strong focus on light and material.
Clients who value sustainability should ask about concrete energy, material and reuse strategies, not only about certificates, to check how they translate into the finished building and its running costs.
For refurbishment projects, it is worth assessing sensitivity to what already exists and the ability to integrate new services without losing the character of the building, a balance that defines much of the final success.
