About Sarc + Sigge Architects

Sarc + Sigge Architects was formed in 2024 from the merger of SARC, founded in 1965, and Sigge, founded in 1956. The combined studio has offices in Helsinki and Turku and defines its mission as creating environments for a good life.

Its work includes hospitals, housing, offices, retail and renovations of historic and culturally significant buildings. References include the New Children's Hospital in Helsinki, winner of the Finlandia Prize for Architecture, and the transformation of old riverside factories in Turku.

It suits developers and public clients needing a large, versatile team. Its experience in renovation, sustainability and complex urban projects covers both new build and reuse of existing heritage.
