Sánchez y Curiel Arquitectos is a well-known Santo Domingo (Distrito Nacional) firm founded in 1986 by architects Andrés Sánchez and César Curiel, graduates of the UASD, and carried on today by the founders' second generation.
Its designs combine a sophisticated urban style with a Caribbean feel, specialising in the design and construction of multifamily housing; its Condominio Paraíso won the built-work award at the III Santo Domingo Architecture Biennial in 1990.
