About Roark Studio
Studio founded in 2015 in Sopot by Jakub Bladowski, specialising in the premium market and revitalisation, author of Chlebova Apartments by the Motlawa in Gdansk, the Opacka project in Oliwa and the conversion of former Gdansk shipyard halls into a creative cluster.
Beyond architectural design, the studio takes part in competitions and in the Polish professional debate, and its works are published in specialist media, giving it a stable presence beyond its home city.
Taken together, this is a practice representative of Polish architecture today, with projects showing how local tradition, urban context and contemporary demands can coexist in a single building.
