Protan AS is a Norwegian company and a world leader in membrane technology, headquartered in Drammen with its visitors' address at Baches vei 1 in Lier. Its largest business area is roofs and membranes, with PVC systems for exposed, ballasted, green and blue roofs, as well as membranes for tunnels, car parks and civil engineering works.
With more than 80 years of experience, Protan develops and tests its solutions in its own laboratory in Drammen, certified by DNV, and supplies international markets from Norway. Its membranes are characterised by weldability, durability and performance in demanding climatic conditions.
For flat-roof and infrastructure projects, Protan is a reference supplier when a membrane with complete documentation and a network of trained installers is needed. The choice of membrane and the quality of its installation determine the service life of the whole roof.
