About Premex
Premex, Presforzados Mexicanos de Tizayuca, is a Mexican manufacturer of precast prestressed concrete slab and structural systems, with its plant in Tizayuca, Hidalgo, a corporate office in Mexico City and sales points in Veracruz, Tulancingo and the Bajío region. Its elements are made with high-strength concrete, f'c=400 kg/cm², and prestressing steel, through an industrialised process of tensioning, casting, curing and cutting to each project's length.
Its main line is self-supporting precast slabs: prestressed joists, tubular beams, hollow-core slabs and TT slabs, which can be combined with polystyrene or cement vault blocks and with its lightweight formwork system. It also supplies precast foundation, column and girder structures, and special elements such as perimeter fences, manholes, posts, piles and water storage tanks.
Premex offers supply only, supply and installation, and supply with installation and casting, as well as technical advice and project quotations for housing, buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels, shopping centres and industrial warehouses. Its systems eliminate contact formwork, reduce labour and shorten construction times compared with cast-in-place slabs.
