About Porter's Paints
Porter's Paints is a specialist Australian manufacturer of handmade, small-batch artisan paints, specialty finishes, wallpapers and timber flooring. Founded in 1982 and based in Sydney, it serves designers, architects and homeowners seeking distinctive colour, texture and hand-crafted finishes.
Its range includes lime washes, metallics, stone finishes, timber stains and a curated wallpaper collection, supported by showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and a network of stockists. The company emphasises colour advice and in-store expertise over mass-market distribution.
For interior design and heritage-sensitive projects, Porter's offers a boutique alternative to mainstream paint brands, with finishes that create depth and variation on walls and joinery. Its Sydney base and design-led approach make it a reference for high-end residential and hospitality interiors.
