pool Architekten

pool Architekten is a Zurich collective created in 1994 as an exchange platform and, since 1998, as a partnership of eight architects. Its office is on Bremgartnerstrasse in Zurich.

The practice works mainly on housing, schools and public buildings, understanding each project as a work in progress and in permanent evolution. Its cooperative structure and attention to collective living give its residential work a distinctive social dimension.

For cooperatives and public clients in Switzerland, pool Architekten offers experience in affordable, communal housing and in public buildings developed through competitions and sustained research.
