About Paramento Taller de Arquitectura
Paramento Taller de Arquitectura is a Mérida architecture studio working on architecture and interior design, with a portfolio centred on housing in Yucatán. Its name refers to the wall surface, a fitting emblem for a practice attentive to material and enclosure.
The studio designs houses and commercial spaces in Mérida and its surroundings, paying close attention to climate, orientation and the transition between interior and exterior. Its projects use patios, lattices and shaded terraces to moderate heat and to give each house a private outdoor room.
As part of Mérida’s active contemporary scene, Paramento combines architectural design with interior finishes in a single team. That integration helps it deliver coherent houses where structure, material and furniture share the same language.
