Novidesa

Novidesa is a Mexican company, part of Grupo IDESA, specialized in manufacturing expanded polystyrene (EPS) panels and boards for construction. From its commercial headquarters in Mexico City it develops lightweight, resistant and thermally insulating building systems that reduce construction times, energy consumption and the environmental footprint of projects.

Its catalogue includes floor panels such as Makros and M16, IKOS and IK+ insulating panels for walls and roofs, insulating boards and the Holmak insulating formwork for walls, as well as EPS beads for construction and packaging. These are continuous-moulding products with a metal core, certified, designed to build ribbed slabs, structural walls and envelopes with integrated thermal and acoustic insulation.

The company supports architects, builders and developers with technical data sheets, construction details and success stories in housing, hospitals, museums, hotels and commercial buildings across Mexico. Its manufacturing plant is located in Xaloztoc, Tlaxcala, and its approach aims to improve quality of life through faster, safer and more sustainable building.
