Nordisk Wavin A/S

Nordisk Wavin A/S is Wavin's Danish operating company, part of Orbia, supplying plastic pipe systems for water supply, drainage, sewerage, gas and district heating, plus rainwater and soil systems. Its Danish base in Hammel supports building and infrastructure projects across the country.

When specifying plastic pipes, define material, pressure or non-pressure use, diameter, joint type and applicable standards, and ensure fittings and seals match the pipe series. For below-ground drainage, bedding, backfill and gradient must follow the system's installation guidance to avoid settlement and blockages.

For underground works, phase deliveries with the excavation programme so pipes are not stored on site for long periods, and protect ends from soil ingress. A pressure or tightness test before backfill saves costly excavation if a joint proves faulty.
