Maćków Pracownia Projektowa

Wroclaw studio founded in 1995 by Zbigniew Mackow, whose architecture grows from diversity and the city's historical context, with works such as the Renoma department store refurbishment, Siechnice Town Hall and residential and office towers in Wroclaw.

Beyond architectural design, the studio takes part in competitions and in the Polish professional debate, and its works are published in specialist media, giving it a stable presence beyond its home city.

Taken together, this is a practice representative of Polish architecture today, with projects showing how local tradition, urban context and contemporary demands can coexist in a single building.
