About K-Line
K-Line is a company French manufacturer of aluminium windows and doors based in Les Herbiers (Pays de la Loire). Its activity focuses on its aluminium windows, sliding systems and entrance doors.
Industrial and garage doors also demand thinking about duty cycles, operators and operating safety. Intensive daily use does not admit the same solution as occasional use. In refurbishment, measuring the existing opening precisely and planning threshold, drainage and accessibility avoids most later problems of fit and leakage.
Accessibility and security must be solved together: low thresholds, passage widths, controlled closing and, where applicable, fire or burglary resistance, without turning the door into an obstacle. In multi-occupancy buildings, coordinating door, intercom, access control and evacuation avoids later regulatory conflicts.
