Jotun Danmark A/S

Jotun Danmark A/S is the Danish subsidiary of Norwegian paint group Jotun, supplying decorative paints and performance coatings for buildings, industry and marine use from its Kolding base. Its portfolio covers interior and exterior decorative paints, protective coatings and powder coatings.

For coating specification, distinguish clearly between decorative, protective and marine systems, since substrate preparation, film thickness and maintenance intervals differ greatly. In industrial and coastal environments, corrosion protection categories and expected service life should be agreed before the coating system is fixed.

Coating suppliers should be involved early on large projects, because surface preparation and application windows affect the construction programme. Keep product data sheets and colour references with the project documentation for future inspection and maintenance.
