Homasote Company

Homasote Company is a manufacturer of fiberboard building panels based in West Trenton, New Jersey, the oldest manufacturer of building products made from recycled materials in the United States.

The company produces panels made from 98% recycled cellulose fiber for walls and ceilings, such as the 440 SoundBarrier sound deadening board, plus roof, floor and concrete forming boards resistant to moisture, fungus and termites.

Its services include manufacturing at its New Jersey complex, technical and sales support and supply to dealers and contractors for residential, commercial and institutional construction.
