About Grüntuch Ernst Architekten
Grüntuch Ernst Architekten, based in Berlin, is an architecture practice: international practice founded in Berlin in 1991, working on housing, offices, culture and urban transformation, with buildings seeking mixed use, diversity and densification of urban space.
Clients who value sustainability should ask about concrete energy, material and reuse strategies, not only about certificates, to check how they translate into the finished building and its running costs.
For refurbishment projects, it is worth assessing sensitivity to what already exists and the ability to integrate new services without losing the character of the building, a balance that defines much of the final success.
