About group8
group8 is an architecture and urban design practice founded in 2000 in Geneva and based in Carouge, in the Geneva metropolitan area. It claims a creative freedom and constructive light-heartedness in a milieu known for sobriety.
The office works on housing, public facilities, offices and urban projects, including the renovation of international headquarters in Geneva. Each project is treated as a specific response to a new context, seeking a radical choice that gives the building its identity.
For clients in French-speaking Switzerland seeking an inventive, socially aware practice, group8 offers experience in competitions and in buildings that reinterpret everyday programmes with ambition.
