About Gigon Guyer
Gigon Guyer is an architecture practice based in Zurich, founded in 1989 by Annette Gigon and Mike Guyer, both trained at ETH Zurich. The office, now Gigon Guyer Partner Architekten, works from its Zurich office on Carmenstrasse.
Its practice covers museums, cultural buildings, housing, offices and educational buildings, with a constant interest in light, colour, materials and constructional precision. Many of its buildings reinterpret familiar typologies through facades and interiors of strong character.
It is a strong choice for cultural and residential projects in Switzerland seeking rigorous contemporary architecture, with proven experience in competitions and in long-running public and private commissions.
