About Forbo Flooring France
Forbo Flooring France is a company French flooring subsidiary based in Reims (Grand Est). Its activity focuses on its vinyl, linoleum and carpet-tile floors for commercial use.
Acoustic comfort and feel underfoot matter as much as resistance: an overly hard floor amplifies footfall noise, while well-chosen textile flooring absorbs sound and adds warmth. Before specifying, test samples under the space's real light, check fire reaction and coordinate the floor with any underfloor heating or cooling.
Coordination with furniture and lighting is key: floor colour changes with light and neighbouring materials, so samples should be judged in the real space, not only from a catalogue. Transitions between different floors — profiles, levels and joints — should also be planned so a material change does not become a trip hazard.
