Estudio ALA is an architecture and design studio based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, founded in 2012 by Luis Enrique Flores and Armida Fernández. Its work seeks to connect with time, history, place and people, and to dissolve conventional spatial boundaries and hierarchies.
The firm has completed residential, religious, industrial and hospitality projects, including the Vinata de Mezcal in Jiquilpan de Juárez, a finalist in the RIBA International Awards for Excellence 2026. Its work reinterprets vernacular architecture and traditional building systems in a contemporary language.
It offers architectural design and project development at various scales, from housing to productive and cultural facilities. From Guadalajara it serves commissions in Jalisco and other regions of Mexico.
