About Ekornes AS
Ekornes AS, based in Ikornnes, is Norway's largest furniture manufacturer and owner of the Stressless, Svane and IMG brands. It produces recliners, sofas, beds and relaxation furniture, with a long craft tradition in the Sykkylven furniture district on Norway's west coast.
The company combines Scandinavian design, ergonomics and industrial production, with factories in Norway and an international distribution network. Its products are specified in housing as well as hospitality and office projects, where seating comfort and durability are priorities.
For interior designers and distributors, Ekornes is a reference for mid- to high-end Norwegian furniture, with an identity tied to quality and domestic manufacturing. The Made in Norway certification of some of its products reinforces that positioning in demanding markets.
